Hello everybody!! Hope you all had an amazing weekend and are re-charged to do the work week tango (awkward silence because no one laughed but me LOL). But I just wanted to share some bomb news with my readers. As most of you know I'm a former employee of Nordstrom and I'm proud to announce that Topshop will have a new home in the Columbia Mall store! I can't tell you how excited I am! A Topshop department only 20 minutes from my house?! Pinch me! So in lieu of the department Nordstrom Columbia will be hosting a launch party on this Saturday Feb 14th! So if you looking for something nice to wear for that special date with your man or just a random Bae you met this weekend (no judgment) Columbia is where you should be to getting beautified. There will be a DJ, selfie booth, beauty stylist and of course fresh Topshop merchandise ready to be shopped by you! Join me as I give styling tips and find out my fav items from this season collection! I'll also be hosting a contest to win a gift card to Nordy which will be on my Instagram this week so keep your eyes peeled for that. I'm so excited to see all of your beautiful faces this Saturday!

Introducing Trend/Top 10 Tuesday's

Hello beautiful people! So I've decided to start a small post series called Top 10/Trend Tuesday's to showcase all of my favorite trends and products of the week. I spend so much time at work looking at all these cool different items that not only I want/love but I know my viewers would want/love. I'll have all the info for each product below and even suggestions on how to style them. Hope this is a post that benefits your shopping needs!

For my first post I wanted to showcase Bucket Bags. I've been seeing them in so many different stores and brands from Givenchy to Forever 21. These bags are no new design but as trends do they seem to be making a comeback this season. It's an easy wear bag that can be dressed up and down. I found so many different variations of it on polyvore.com but currently zara.com has the best selection in my opinion. Top of the month

So we've knocked out the first month of 2015 and I for one am happy to be one month closer to spring. This month I would say was a refreshing one. I decided to leave my part time job to focus more on the blog and more on my full time. I hate to say it but juggling both was very challenging. I mean I was mentally and physically drained, my energy always low, and on top of that my paychecks were for lack of a better word, shit. I took some time to think about my next moves and I decided to work smarter and not harder. Now granted my full time job is not my favorite thing to do the money is much more stable and easier to make. I spend all day talking to people about owing money and it can be mentally draining. I sometimes dread getting on the beltway to go to work and when I say dread I mean on the verge of turning around and going home. But in the past month I've come to realize I have to do wait I have to do to get where I want to get. So I prayed about it and changed my outlook. I've always told myself my full time is temporary but now I'm believing it and acting like it. I'm still striving to be the best even knowing that this isn't my last stop on the career train by a longshot. I have to consistently put my best in to get the best out of it. I mean that's no secret but I can’t lie, I haven’t been applying it while working. I think we could all do that more often. We have to stop doing half-assed jobs at things and expecting superb results. I was honest with myself and I know I wasn’t putting my all in. So now that's my focus, at my full time job (which supports me financial) and in my blog (which supports me in a spiritual way lol).

But any who enough of my soul searching rambling LOL. In my previous post I bitched about how tired I am of the winter and sad to say my feelings don’t seem to be changing anytime soon, but just because I'm tired of what feels like living in Antarctica I still want to look stylish.
