2013 Victoria Secret fashion show: How will you step out the box?

Every year a few weeks before the holidays we all gather around to watch the most beautiful and sexy women from around the world strut their stuff in the most creative pieces of art we will see on a runway all year. Of course you already knew I was talking about the world famous Victoria Secret fashion show! I've been watching this fashion show every year since it debuted in 2000 and I'm always impressed with how they top the last show from the previous year. Each look is it's own piece of art sent down the runway with months of careful craftsmanship, thought and love. All of the artisans selected for the production and costume design is a careful process almost like casting models for the actaul show. Collection creative director for the show Sophia Neophitou has been in her position with Victoria Secret for the past 3 years and has been a key operator in the creative aspects of the shows costumes and set design. She along with other VS fashion producers brought on a number of budding designers. Two who stuck out to me were wing designer Serkan Cura; (a designer from Paris who specializes in feathers), and Bradley Rothenburger a key contributor in the Snow Angel scene (a designer who specializes in 3 dimensional clothing). After watching a few interviews with these two amazing designers I gained a better respect for the VS fashion show. This isn't just an hour of beautiful woman wearing scantly lingerie. It's the creative vision of dozens of gifted designers. Costume designer Barak Stirbling said in one of the pre-show interviews he learned a valuable lesson while designing with the VS fashion show which was don't take things so literal and push yourself , he says "Don't be afraid to take a step they weren't thinking about". That quote made me think to myself what will I step out the box and do next? Anyway I'm already excited for next years show and I'm sure production has already started LOL :)
